Some people come into your life as teachers.

Some come as blessings.

And some come in like, “Ah. So this is the audit.”

That is Nemesis.

In astrology, Nemesis is not just about enemies in the obvious movie-villain sense. It is about correction, consequence, rivalry, jealousy, and the places where life finally says:

“Enough. We are not doing this again.”

I like to use two Nemesis points together:

The Part of Nemesis and Asteroid 128 Nemesis.

They are not the same thing.

One is the rulebook.

The other is the person who shows up with the clipboard.

The Part of Nemesis: The Rule

The Part of Nemesis is not a planet or asteroid. It is a calculated point, one of the Arabic Lots.

I read it as the place where consequences gather.

It shows where misuse of power, trust, attention, money, access, or generosity will not slide forever.

This is the area of life where the universe keeps receipts.

If it is in the 2nd house, the lesson may involve money, self-worth, possessions, or what you allow people to take from you.

If it is in the 7th house, the lesson may come through partners, clients, contracts, or open enemies.

If it is in the 10th house, the correction may happen through career, reputation, visibility, or your public name.

The Part of Nemesis answers:

Where has something gone too far?

Asteroid 128 Nemesis: The Enforcer

Asteroid 128 Nemesis is a physical body named after Nemesis, the Greek goddess of retribution.

In a modern reading, I use it to describe the profile of your ops.

Yes, ops.

The sign shows their attitude.

The house shows where they hit.

The aspects show what they activate in you.

Nemesis in the 7th house, for example, can show enemies who arrive as partners, clients, collaborators, or “let’s work together” people.

They come in through relationship language.

Then suddenly it becomes competition, sabotage, comparison, or a strange little power struggle nobody agreed to attend.

It is very:

“I came here to partner with you, but secretly I need to defeat you.”

Charming. Very normal. Love that for no one.

Why Use Both?

Because one shows the law, and the other shows the delivery system.

The Part of Nemesis says:

“This is where the rule lives.”

Asteroid Nemesis says:

“This is who or what shows up to enforce it.”

For example, if your Part of Nemesis is in the 2nd house, but Asteroid Nemesis is in the 11th, the deeper issue may be money, value, self-worth, or resources.

But the enforcement may come through friends, groups, audiences, social media, or community spaces.

So the money lesson arrives through the friend group.

The self-worth lesson arrives through the internet.

The financial boundary lesson arrives through somebody who was just liking your posts last Tuesday.

The 2nd house is the rule.

The 11th house is the scene of the crime.

Do Not Forget the Dispositor

This is where the reading gets sharper.

The dispositor is the planet that rules the sign where Nemesis sits.

That planet shows who is managing the Nemesis story.

The sign and house of the dispositor show the deeper control room.

For example, if Asteroid Nemesis is in Libra, Venus rules it.

So now we look at Venus.

If Venus is in the 12th house, the op may work through hidden envy, private resentment, secrecy, spiritual bypassing, or behind-the-scenes behavior.

If Venus is in Scorpio, the style may involve jealousy, emotional debt, obsession, betrayal, or power games.

The asteroid shows the face of the op.

The dispositor shows what is driving the car.

And sometimes the car has expired tags, bad brakes, and a passenger named “unresolved insecurity.”

That is why the dispositor matters.

It moves the reading from:

“This person is acting strange.”

to:

“Oh. This is a whole system. There is a method to the foolishness.”

My Angle

I use both because I am in a chapter of life that is more forensic than social.

I am not trying to argue with the pattern anymore.

I want to study it.

Old conflicts, smear attempts, money issues, friendship breakdowns, client weirdness, public attacks, all of it becomes data instead of drama.

The Part of Nemesis shows me where something had been sliding too long.

Money.

Boundaries.

My name.

My labor.

My generosity.

My silence.

Asteroid Nemesis shows me the personality of the op.

How they came in.

What door they used.

What tone they carried.

What part of me they tried to hit.

And the dispositor shows the deeper engine underneath the whole thing.

That is why I use all three.

The Part shows the rule.

The asteroid shows the enforcer.

The dispositor shows who is running the operation.

Or at least who left the foolishness unattended.

Final Thought

Nemesis is not always punishment.

Sometimes it is correction.

Sometimes it is protection.

Sometimes it is the moment life says:

“You have let this go on long enough.”

And sometimes Nemesis is not the person coming against you.

Sometimes you become Nemesis when your boundary becomes the consequence.

Not revenge.

Not pettiness.

Just balance.

Because once you can name the pattern, you do not have to keep starring in the same episode.

You can close the case.

File the evidence.
